How to Embrace Life // A Visual Poem
SHOT BYTobi Schnorpfeil
A visual poem about embracing our lifes.
A few weeks ago I got the VW Bus from my uncle and we headed out on a weekend road trip. This time I wanted to create something more motivating and inspiring. To accompany the poem the scenes where shot hand-held without my stabilizer. The voice-over was recorded by my friend Priya Linke.
This is a story about life.
About our feelings and memories, our journeys and adventures,
not about achievements or money.
It’s about our dreams and our wishes, the important things, most people don’t care about.
Our purpose. Our goal.
Can’t we stand still for a moment and breathe, feel and then realize that there’s so much more?
Think about the roads you haven’t walked,
the people you haven’t met,
and the stories you haven’t told.
In the end it’s my way – I have to walk it.
So why am I here? And why are you here?
