Pomfort’s plugin for Final Cut that converts your logarhitmic Technicolor footage to linear was updated and now also works with Final Cut Pro X. Pomfort: “The new Final Cut Pro X has a new filter architecture: Filters are exchanged between Motion and Final Cut Pro X as filter templates. The installer for our DSLRLog2Video puts everything right in place so that you can start with preset filter templates in Final Cut Pro X even without Motion installed.” You can download the plugin for free because it is still in it’s beta state, but your license will expire on September 9th, 2011 and there is no word of pricing yet. Download the free beta here. See our article and explanation of the CineStlye and LUTs here.Read more
