Photo By: Abel Cine Tech Panasonic released a Firmware Update for the AF 100 that address a major problem with the camera. If the VFR mode is turned on then the AF100 does not record audio. The meters read and the headphone out works. This is a major flaw with the camera. The firmware update addresses this to some degree. Now, there is a red slash over the A.REC icon on the LCD monitor. The meters still show audio and the headphone out still works. I wish they would kill it altogether. The rest of the updates are just ho hum. Please take note. No Audio if VFR is on. During VFR recording, an icon which tells “No audio is recorded” has been added in View finder and LCD display. There is no change for the functionality of the camera. 3.
