C5D is headed down to the SXSW Film Festival this week and we will be bringing a Teradek Cube with Livestream link with us. We hope to bring you live feeds via the new integrated system. We got in early on this project and can’t wait to try it out in the field. The new system lets you simply push the Livestream button on the Teradek Cube and viola you are streaming live video on a Livestream channel. Stay tuned for some kick ass live content from Texas. Here is a rip from the Teradek Vimeo channel. “Starting with v4.4, Cube™ supports streaming directly to your Livestream.com channel. Once you entered your username, password, and Livestream channel on Cube™’s WebUI, you can go live by pushing a single button. No laptop required ! If you don’t have Livestream account, you can create one straight from Cube™’s WebUI. What’s more, Cube™ tunnels to livestream.com from any IP network, regardless of firewalls, ports and IP setup. If you can see google.com, you can get your video out ! Also included in Cube™ v4.4 is support for Verizon’s 4G LTE modems (on the correct Cube models). This allows you to stream HD video from anywhere with 4G coverage, right from your camera’s hot-shoe.”Read more
