Peter Cote of My DSLR Show does a great job of explaining the rolling shutter effect. The little illustration and bike shot shows it all. This is one of the most common questions I get asked. I have always had a hard time describing how it works. Top to bottom, scan rate, refresh rate, dual processors, all of it. Now, I can just show this video. I had a chance to briefly meet with him today and he is defiantly one to watch in the HDSLR world. According to Peter, the show is primarily directed towards newcomers to HDSLR’s. A little refresher course now and then never hurts.
