Pentax K-x. HD-DSLR or Fashion Statement?

Pentax K-x Red

Pentax K-x Red

The Pentax K-x has been around for a little while, despite the trendy colors available (Red, White, Navy and Black) it is a good entry level HD DSLR with 24 fps and 720p video. At a street price of $699 with both 18-55mm and 55-200mm zoom lenses, this is not a bad way to start shooting.

The camera runs on “AA” batteries, a plus and minus. Interchangeable lenses, Live View, and 24 fps movie mode is the big draw for this camera. For an inexpensive way to get into the best of both worlds, this may be the ticket.
