NAB 2010 Wrap Up. Thank You C5D Viewers!

NAB had over ninety thousand attendees and  was all about DSLR’s. There were a few other highlights, like the Arri Alexa and 3D. However there were DSLR’s everywhere. Mounted on car rigs, steadicams, cranes, shakers, etc. Any manufacture in his right mind was working to integrate a DSLR into their system. Team Cinema5D was in full effect with our two cameramen Chris Collins and Hunter Kerhart. Even though we got off to a rocky start we recovered fairly well in the end and did our best to bring you interviews with some movers and shakers in the motion picture industry. NAB is typically all about the gear, but this year it was all about the people. Everyone BIG in DSLR and other areas of film production were there. The usual suspects, Vincent Lafoert, Rodney Charters, ASC, Shane Hurlbut, ASC, Nancy Schreiber, ASC, Philip Bloom. Too many cool people to name.  There was something in the air (I hear they pump oxygen in Vegas) this year that made it way cooler than usual.

There was way too much gear and no time to get it all on camera in the two days we were there. Here are a few more interviews. Thanks to all the Cinema5D readers for your support. We could not have made the trip without you. A huge THANK YOU to Chris Collins and Hunter Kerhart. They both worked their ass off to bring this info to you. We pulled a straight 48 hour shift to shoot, edit and upload all of the interviews to get them to you as quickly as possible then drove back to Los Angeles and kept editing on the way. Thank you all for taking the time to check out our coverage of NAB 2010. It was a blast!
