Marshall Electronics Factory Tour. New 5" HDMI Monitor

I got the chance to go down to El Segundo, California and visit the Marshall Electronics Factory. I have been a fan of their 7″ HDMI monitor for quite some time. The image quality and killer functions (False Color, Peaking Filter, Etc.) have always worked well for  my HDSLR needs. The new Marshall 5″ V-LCD50-HDMI is really meant for the HDSLR user. The most prominent feature of the 5″, is the size. It is considerably smaller than the  Marshall V-LCD70XP-HDMI. The next great feature is that is runs on four “AA” batteries. This slim profile keeps the monitor balanced if wearing it on the hot shoe mount. It weighs next to nothing. I see a 5″ on camera with a 7″ director’s monitor working very well in almost any situation. Now if I could just get my hands on one of those 17″ bad boys, the house would really be rocking. Team C5D cameraman Hunter Kerhart hooked up the edit.
