Jay Holben at DV.com describes how to light for DSLR’s with this very detailed article describing how he shot a short movie using minimal lighting and a Canon 7D. Jay ‘s lighting kit consisted of one 650W Arri, one 300W Arri, two 250w Arri tungsten lights and a Litepanels Micro. This small lighting package along with some reflectors and diffusion helped him create a nice warm scene. The latitude of the Canon 7D let him shoot high on the ISO scale at 2500. The combination of the two make for a nice small package than can be applied to many situations.
