HDMI WiFi Wireless Transmitter For Under $200

November 2nd, 2010 Jump to Comment Section

Here is an inexpensive soultion to HDMI  WiFi wireless transmission. It has a very limited range of only thirty feet. It is also not designed specifically for camera work, however if it will get an operator away from the camera in a dangerous situation. I’m all for it. Here is a rip from the article by Vision Wrangler on Cinescopophillia.

“Like the Teradek Cube but think you can stream 1080p footage yourself? Want to get your vision on the Big Screen at 3Gbps latency free (less than 1ms) transmission?
Well why not try the  Asus WiCast or the  briteView HDelight , two Full HD 1080p HDMI wireless video/audio transmission systems. Now the two units will set you back around $199 and $160 and that is good value.
Both wireless transmission units use the Amimon WHDI transmitter and receiver chipsets and are capable of Full HD 1080p video and Dolby Digital surround sound audio transmissions over about 9 meters or 30 feet.”
