The V800 has a plastic encoluse, but feels rugged enough fpr daily use and is very lightweight for it’s size.

weight: 600g
weight with battery: 800g

There are several inputs on the back of this device. Apart from hdmi it has composite, component and s-video. All rca connectors have a bnc lock in mechanism. For all of those inputs (not hdmi) there is also an output jack. This is very handy if you want to use more than one monitor on site, like for example your director wants to see the video too. Unfortunately it doesn’t provide that feature for hdmi. Also if you go in via hdmi it will not output via composite for example. Alternatively you could also use a “splitter” to “split” the signal before it goes into the first monitor, but I haven’t tested that option yet.
