DaVinci Resolve Lite (free) now includes unlimited CC nodes
As a move to get more users on their system Black Magic Design has recently released a free version of their legendary color correction software DaVinci.
Unlimited color correction nodes allow customers to use multiple color correctors for more complex and creative grading and is a dramatic boost in power over the previous version of DaVinci Resolve Lite that was limited to 2 nodes. Adding more than 2 color correction nodes was the top requested feature by DaVinci Resolve Lite colorists.
Another improvement in Version 8.1.1 is DNxHD read and write support. This is great for Avid users.
The difference to the full version is that the output resolution is restricted to HD. But DaVinci Resolve Lite can still accept high resolution source footage in 2K, 4K and 5K.
Here’s the $30,000 version, the DaVinci Hardware package that will also give you 4K.
