Canon 6D vs Nikon D600 vs 5D Mark III
I didn’t see much 6d reviews up so I decided to do one just so we can have a variety to watch. Now This is my first attempt at making a review and after watching my self, I have learned how to improve. My next review will be much better.
The obvious: The 6D is a great camera. It offers one of the best low light performance in it’s class. You can’t really compare this to the 5D Mark II at all. The 5D Mark III on the other hand is a more closely matched brethren.
I’m still a bit surprised at how hard it was to tell apart the images from the Mark III and the 6D in terms of noise performance. Many new owners will be very happy with their purchase. If i didn’t have a 5D Mark III already I picked this up in a heart beat.
I am not Canon biased. I love Nikon for the image they produced, but in terms of video and noise performance Canon is still the way to go.
I can also make a 2nd part to this video if any of you are interested. It will be a much are comprehensive review. Just leave a comment below stating you want to see it
Cameras and lens used:
5D Mark III & 6D with 20-30mm S Lens
Nikon d600 with the 24-85 Kit lens
Aerials done on the Turbo Ace Cinewing X88-j2 Octocopter
NOTE* I shot and recorded both audio and video to the 5dmark III. The preamp is not that great on the 5d and I noticed my voice is a little hard to make out.
