Italian based product designer and lens modifier Dante Cecchin had been working in cinematography for a long time when the HDSLR revolution changed the way we looked at cinema. Driven by the need for HDSLR cine primes Dante modified high quality Zeiss ZF glass into cinema lenses and started a production.

I got the chance to ask James Lee From 16 X 9 INC. about some of their gear at cine gear 2010. The Chrosziel matte box is one of the more versatile matte boxes on the market with both lens and rod mount systems. I have always been impressed with the rubber bellows that Chrosziel makes. This works well with the rod mount system to eliminate the need for various lens rings. The quick release Cine Arm is also advancement in product design. Most people who have used the screw type arm have dealt with the monitor or other accessory swinging away at times.
