R.J.’s Speedbooster adapter for Nikon – only $200
We really loved the Metabones Speedbooster adapter, a device that transforms any aps-c sized sensor to a full frame lookalike and gives us one full additional stop of light. Here’s R.J.’s take on the Speedbooster with a version for Nikon cameras.
Word is out that Metabones’ Speedbooster for MFT mounts is delayed until later this year, which is unfortunate as there are many MFT cameras we would like to boost that way.

Canon EOS C300 – now $2000 off
The Canon C300 has just been significantly reduced in price. B&H sent out a notice announcing a $2000 pricedrop.
Even though there is competition for the C300 with the introduction of the C500 and low priced C100 the C300 fills an important slot with its internal All-I codec and SDI connection possibilities.
There’s more competition from Sony with their new PMW-F5 model that’s already in stock.
Both the PL version as well as the EF version of the EOS C300 are now $2000 off and available at B&H with 0% financing.
That makes the C300 priced at $13,999 right now.

This is not a soft marketing video like many other Blackmagic interviews out there, this is 25 minutes of very informative tech and in-depth talk on some of the toughest questions Clayton could come up with. Unfortunately we couldn’t discuss all we intended to as some things were a little too sensitive there, but nevertheless Soren Phillips (from BMC camera development) had some really great answers on most of our questions.
If you’re in the business of getting a Blackmagic Cinema Camera (pre-order MFT here) then this talk will also give you some very useful insights on how to best use the camera and
