RED Scarlet-X – Motion and Grading

We went out to shoot this yesterday among other things to test and get a feeling for the Scarlet-X.
In this particular test I wanted to shoot something that’s moving and would need a lot of post processing. The clips were gradually underexposed and there was a lot of shake because we simply shot from a tripod out the back of a truck.

DaVinci Resolve Lite (free) now includes unlimited CC nodes
As a move to get more users on their system Black Magic Design has recently released a free version of their legendary color correction software DaVinci.
Unlimited color correction nodes allow customers to use multiple color correctors for more complex and creative grading and is a dramatic boost in power over the previous version of DaVinci Resolve Lite that was limited to 2 nodes. Adding more than 2 color correction nodes was the top requested feature by DaVinci Resolve Lite colorists.
Another improvement in Version 8.1.1 is DNxHD read and write support. This is great for Avid users.
